CAMPS ARE MONDAY–FRIDAY AND INCLUDE 2 HOURS OF ON ICE INSTRUCTION AND 1 HOUR OF DRYLAND PER DAY. PLUS BONUS MENTAL TRAINING SESSION ON WEDNESDAY.
CAMPS WILL BE INTENSE AND DEMANDING AND WILL BE DESIGNED TO GET YOU READY FOR TRYOUTS.
TYPICAL DAY WILL BE FIRST ICE- (SKILLS) FOLLOWED BY DRYLAND (EMPHASIS ON CARDIO, AGILITY, SPEED, BALANCE, CORE, EXPOSIVE POWER) FOLLOWED BY SECOND ICE (CARDIO FLOW, BATTLING AND HARD SKATING)
“ NHTC is proud to announce that NHTC High Performance Coach Matt Erhart has been named Assistant Coach and Assistant General Manager of the Surrey Eagles BCHL Junior A.
Matt has been a hockey and skatemill instructor at NHTC for the past 4 years working with all athletes. Matt has focused for the past year on our high performance athletes in our 16 Week Pro Style Training Program. Matt will continue to work extensively with NHTC athletes going forward including doing 1-1 training. We congratulate Matt on this significant progression in his career”.
NHTC is also pleased to congratulate Cameron Abney of the Everett Silvertips for being selected 82nd (3rd round) by the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL draft this past weekend.
Cameron trained at NHTC in our 16 week Pro Style training program after being listed by Everett. He worked extremely hard that summer and played for the Richmond Sockeyes Junior B for a season before cracking the Silvertips lineup last year.
Congratulations Cam and good luck.
NHTC also congratulates Goalie Adam Morrison of the Saskatoon Blades for being selected 81st (3rd round) by the Philadelphia Flyers. Adam trained at NHTC with his team while playing for the Valley West Hawks Major Midget team in 2007-8 season. NHTC wishes Cameron and Adam the very best of luck and success going forward.

National Hockey Training Rink NHTC offers learn to skate programs, power skating, powerskating in Langley BC. 3 on 3 hockey, womens 3 on 3 hockey league, men’s 3 on 3 hockey league, adult hockey league, much like Excellent Ice in Surrey. We also offer tots hockey, tot hockey for youth hockey players in Langley. We are located on Mufford crescent between Langley Twin Rinks and Sportsplex. The NHTC dryland hockey training facility is located behind the Sportsplex in Langley and is the premier hockey training facility in the lower mainland we offer spring hockey with the warriors program along the same lines as the Vancouver Selects spring hockey program.
