From Rep Prep, Body Checking, Defence – and more, NHTC is offering a variety of summer camps in Langley. We want to encourage parents to register early to ensure your child’s spot!
The Benefits of Summer Camps
Summer camps offer a plethora of benefits for kids, and although parents don’t often need extra incentive to keep their children occupied, we thought we would share some top reminders anyway.
In no particular order, here are some ways our NHTC camps can benefit young athletes.
Personal Growth
We provide a supportive environment for kids to step out of their comfort zone and advance their skills. This fosters personal growth, independence, and self-confidence.
Social Skills
Our camps are also an excellent opportunity for youth to interact with peers outside of their usual social circles. It provides a new environment to make friends, collaborate, resolve conflicts, and work as a team.
Sense of Belonging
Building a sense of belonging, in a world that seems to be increasingly disconnected, is incredibly valuable. We pride ourselves in providing a place where children feel accepted and valued for who they are.
Other Benefits Include:
- Physical Activity
- Learning Opportunities
- Resilience
- Memorable Experiences
In addition to all of the above, providing kids with a space where they are ‘unplugged from technology’ is – in our opinion, perhaps the best perk of all. Giving our youth of today, a break from screens and technology, allows them to connect with those around them and engage in meaningful real-life experiences.
Our summer camps in Langley provide an excellent environment for aspiring athletes, and we’re excited for what’s to come!
