Marcie Munro

Marcie has a niche’ for helping make her student’s skating experience fun and memorable. She believes in coaching the skills and fundamentals of skating, which are so critical in today’s ’skating world’. Marcie has worked with learn to skate, hockey, and ringette organizations in the lower mainland and believes in the importance for players to recognize the art of edges; thus coaching proper skating techniques to increase the players efficiency and effectiveness benefitting from the Edge, Power & Stride, as a result.

Marcie grew up in 100 Mile House and started skating at the age of 6. At 18 years of age, she retired her amateur status to turn Pro. Marcie was working on her 4th figure Test, Junior Silver Free Skate, and Senior Silver Dances. She served as club professional for the 100 Mile and District Figure Skating Club, where she taught over 250 skaters. She also skated with the White Rockettes Synchronized Skating Team representing the team at the Canadian Precision Skating Competition in Kitchener, Waterloo -where they placed 2nd.
