NHTC is the perfect place to host your birthday party, team-wind-up, family skate, or corporate event! We offer parties at the Main Rink and Academy Rink. Please read below for more information on parties at each location.
Parties at the Main Rink:
Rent our 2/3rd size ice rink and book the upstairs party room. Just bring your guests and food and have FUN!
The ice and party room are booked at the current rental rates based on the date and time you are booking for. CLICK HERE to view the rental rates at the Main Rink.
The party room is equipped with table and chairs, and you can bring your own decorations. Outside food is welcome, we just ask that food and drinks stay inside the party room and not go into the viewing area. The Main Rink also has a fridge/freezer if needed.
Skate and Helmet rentals are $3.00 each. Please let us know if you have a large number of rentals that are needed. It’s also good to let us know in advance if the party host plans to pay for rentals (we will keep a tally) or if they will be paid individually.
You can book an instructor for on the ice to run games or keep things organized for an extra fee of $50/hr.
Mini Hockey Parties at the Academy Rink:
Rent our Synthetic Ice/party area for a fun mini hockey stick party. You get full use of our Synthetic Ice with 2 regulation size nets. We supply mini hockey sticks, small foam balls, 2 large bouncy balls, and 2 mini nets. The party room has 2 round tables, 2 rectangular tables, and benches that can be moved around the tables. Up to 15 kids are allowed in the party room area. The use of the Synthetic Ice/party area is $125.00+GST per hour.
Outside food is welcome, we just ask that food and drinks stay at the table area only. NO FOOD OR DRINKS ON SYNTHETIC ICE OR IN THE ICE AREA. The Academy Rink does not have a fridge/freezer.
You can also rent the Academy Rink ice sheet for double the fun! The Academy Rink ice is a half size ice rink. For parties, the ice is limited to 15 kids under age 10 OR 10 kids age 10 and older. Adults are not included in this number, up to 6 adults are also allowed on the ice. These numbers are only allowed for parties in which the party/synthetic area is also booked (Regular max numbers on the ice are enforced for ice only rentals).
If you are also renting the ice, skate and helmet rentals are $3.00 each. Keep in mind that the Academy Rink is not as well stocked in rentals as the Main Rink. Please let us know if you will need rentals and if the party host plans to pay for rentals (we will keep a tally) or if they will be paid individually.
