Mark Soares is the owner and lead instructor of Maxx Force Professional Hockey Development and the current BCHL Coquitlam Express Skills coach.

From the age of 4, to rep minor hockey, to Junior A at the young age of 16, to current all time points scored and games played for the Jr. A Express organization, to helping lead his team to Canadian National Championships, to University scholarships both NCAA and CIS, to high level Professional European contracts, numerous top player & fan favorite awards, all-star nominations and Canadian record holder for most consecutive goals scored in one game by a University hockey player, Mark has seen and done what most just dream of.

He has the experience to guide young hockey players down that difficult yet rewarding path.

Learning from his mistakes, disappointments, and achievements throughout the years he has developed ways for players to maintain a positive mindset, train to their highest potential and better themselves both on and off the ice, not only as hockey players but as an individual.

Hockey is his passion, his goal now is to give back to young hockey players and give them every opportunity, knowledge and skills to be successful in the sport and to help continue the strong tradition of our Canadian game.
