At our National Hockey Training Centre (NHTC) here in Langley, we are proud to help promote positive play EVERY day of the year. And 2023 is going to only increase in that arena for many reasons.
Whether through Supporting Girls Hockey, introducing new programs such as Figure Skating, or helping our athletes create Positive Momentum through various high performance hockey training classes; NHTC is here to ensure that our community can play the game they love in a positive, productive and results-driven way!

Because of your support, we can proudly say we trained over 4,000 kids in our classes and camps this past year.
Over the years, we have seen many of the kids who trained at NHTC receive university scholarships, play high level junior, and play all levels of pro including the NHL. Don’t ever think that greatness is impossible or out of reach. Nothing is guaranteed, but a strong work ethic and perseverance will take you a long way.”

National Hockey Training Centre: Offering the Assist of a Financial Freeze
In addition to both new and repeatedly sought out specialty classes, we want to remind parents that NHTC has remained committed to freezing our class prices until September 2023. We understand the financial commitment extracurricular activities require, and wish to help you manage that. As well, we want to thank you for prioritizing sports and activities for your kids – whether on the field, on the ice, in a gym – or wherever your athlete chooses to be involved!
Our winter programs – as seen here, are now in full swing at both of our NHTC locations, including:
- Learn to Skate (at both the Main Rink and the Academy Rink)
- Introduction to Figure Skating
- Introduction to Hockey
- High Performance Hockey Classes
Our Adult Learn to Skate program has been bustling. So busy – in fact, that our Thursday classes are now full, and we have added in a NEW Saturday class to accommodate the interest. We are incredibly impressed with the moms and dads out there who are willing to learn a new skill and solute you for doing so!
